Gordon Ramsay Recipe Blog - Rove Live appearance

Will Gordon Ramsay meet his match in Australia, when he appears on Channel Ten’s Rove Live. The popular Australian comedian and variety show host will have Gordon Ramsay as his guest live in studio, which will no doubt have the censors nervous!

Gordon Ramsay has caused a stir with his hit shows Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares and the language associated - which was made worse by dropping a few choice words in a live interview upon his arrival last year.

Here is the trailer for the show, we’ll post the link when the show airs

Enjoy

Gordon Ramsay Recipes

I like Gordon Ramsay. I actually find him entertaining and interesting. He does know how to cook afterall, and cooking reality shows are among my faves.

Gordon is also honest. He is. And its a rare attribute among television "personalities".

Following an interesting week in Australia, he appeared on Rove McManus' show "Rove Live" - a variety, "comedy" type chat show. I wanted to watch, only for the reason Ramsay would be interesting when confronted by the twirp that is McManus.

Indeed McManus did his utmost best to try and provoke Ramsay, unnecessarily. I realise the show is shallow, often less than entertaining, but please, the awkwardness of McManus and his attempts to get a rise out of Ramsay just showed how silly, attention seeking and shallow the show really is.

I laughed. But it was more at the embarrassment. Onya Rove, we can always count on you to entertain...errm...someone :) As for Gordon Ramsay, it would be interesting to ask him in a weeks time what he thought of the variety show..."what show?" - a response that wouldn't surprise me.

Gordon Ramsay targets Tracy Grimshaw in rant

Gordon Ramsay
Degrading remarks ... celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay made the rant at the Good Food and Wine Show. Picture: David Caird
FOUL-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay has shocked a public audience by vilifying high profile Australian journalist Tracy Grimshaw in an obscene, sexist rant.

The putrid tirade, which included references to Grimshaw's looks, sexuality and depictions of her as a pig, shocked audiences who went to see the celebrity chef at the Good Food and Wine Show in Melbourne.

Ramsay told an audience of several thousand people that Grimshaw was "a lesbian", the Sunday Herald Sun reports.

I think any organisation, even management group, media outlet or entertainment group need to keep in mind that Ramsay is a volatile addition to any line-up. He is entertaining in his way and will go that extra step or two. I think its hilarious. He achieves this level of media hype with one comment/performance. Of course its a joke, get a grip and either leave him at home in the first place or get what you pay for organisors!

Onya Gordon!
