Malcom Turnbull compared to Chk-Chk-Boom teen
Mr Albanese criticised Mr Turnbull for voting against the Government's $42 billion stimulus package, then turning up to an announcement in April that $2 million of the funds would be spent on a pavilion at Waverley Oval, in Mr Turnbull's electorate.
"I wrote to the leader of the Opposition and suggested that he might like to come along," he said.
"Now you would think that, you know, (out of) a sense of doing the right thing, he'd be too embarrassed ... to come along," Mr Albanese said.
"There was no element of embarrassment, of course, the leader of the Opposition was there faster than you can say 'chk-chk boom!"
Werbeloff will tonight tell A Current Affair how a 3am prank turned her into a global media star, with T-shirts and beer mugs made in her honour, and the offer of a bikini shoot on the table.
"There were these two wogs fighting," Ms Werbeloff told the Nine Network in the video that has made her famous.
"The fatter wog said to the skinnier wog: 'Oi bro, you slept with my cousin.' And the other one said: 'Nah man, I didn't for shit, eh', and the other one goes: 'I will call on my fully sick boys, eh.' And then pulled out a gun and went 'chk-chk-boom'."
And so the saga goes on and on and on. www.News.com.au yet again continues the blatant lack of journalistic quality as they promote the "chk chk boom" girl! And yes, I am doing it too! But then I don't suppose to offer myself as a journalist!
This woman "punk'd" our media. They fell for it. And so, they deserved it. As for Malcolm? Well probably not, its all a bit silly really.
My only concern and comment is in relation to our lack of quality journalism in this easy-news-world we live in. Have our core journalists of these modern times forgotten what it is to be one? What their job is? Well then, don't cry foul when you take the world at face value and forget to ask your questions.
As for the arguments and discussions surrounding this whole affair? Get a life or sit back and enjoy the Youtube video! Its funny! Not racist, not hurtful, just a late night prank that caught out so many of you media-heads! Good to see.
