Video: Baby headbutt's Connex train - and its all YOUR fault!

This week Connex the Melbourne rail transit authority released this video to the media and public. It was released as a warning to parents who wander around train platforms pushing strollers and prams with children in them. Fortunately, the toddler in the pram was left relatively unharmed, apparently just a few scratches to its head.

What is to blame here? Who is to blame here? I don't blame this poor unfortunate mother. I mean, she just saw her child get run over by a Melbourne train! Lets examine this more closely:

  1. If Connex maintained consistency, then the train would most definitely have been delayed as it passed through this station - baby would have been left safe!
  2. If fashion trends did not insist that jeans should be worn around your kneecaps, then Mother would not have had to "hoik" up her pants and let go of the pram - baby would have been safe!
  3. If society in general shunned Mothers and prams in public places, particularly at bus-stops, train stations, airports (oh please yes!!!), neither Mother nor baby would have been there in the first place - baby would have been safe!

Its Connex, the Fashion industry and YOU people (society) that are truly to blame here!

The Herald Sun reports the Hollywood couple are expected to stay at Crown with their daughter Suri for their time in Australia.

James Packer flew to Melbourne yesterday, reportedly to prepare the suite for their arrival.

The Packers' private jet was at Essendon airport yesterday with a cheerful-looking Packer spotted at Crown Towers.

Seriously, does anyone really care????

Gordon Ramsay targets Tracy Grimshaw in rant

Gordon Ramsay
Degrading remarks ... celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay made the rant at the Good Food and Wine Show. Picture: David Caird
FOUL-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay has shocked a public audience by vilifying high profile Australian journalist Tracy Grimshaw in an obscene, sexist rant.

The putrid tirade, which included references to Grimshaw's looks, sexuality and depictions of her as a pig, shocked audiences who went to see the celebrity chef at the Good Food and Wine Show in Melbourne.

Ramsay told an audience of several thousand people that Grimshaw was "a lesbian", the Sunday Herald Sun reports.

I think any organisation, even management group, media outlet or entertainment group need to keep in mind that Ramsay is a volatile addition to any line-up. He is entertaining in his way and will go that extra step or two. I think its hilarious. He achieves this level of media hype with one comment/performance. Of course its a joke, get a grip and either leave him at home in the first place or get what you pay for organisors!

Onya Gordon!
