Michael Jackson death 'was homicide' | News.com.au

The details came from a search warrant affidavit released in Houston.

"The Los Angeles Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner, Dr Sathyavagiswaran, indicated that he had reviewed the preliminary toxicology results and his preliminary assessment of Jackson's cause of death was due to lethal levels of propofol (diprivan)," it said.

Jackson suffered cardiac arrest and died on June 25 at age 50.

I think it would be widely understood that even if it is classified as "homocide" it would be considered accidental. Jacko was obviously on path that led to this outcome to either a) avoid the London concerts altogether, or b) actually make it through the concert series - even if drug-induced!

I haven't as yet commented on the whole MJ death thing. Actually not a lot to say really. He was an amazing part of our music history and culture and had a rather "tabloid" life.

Whether it was drugs, over-work, illness or whatever...it seems he is dead. Unless of course he is hanging out with Elvis now, just waiting for that big-surprise-come-back ;)

As for the fans allegedly "committing suicide" over all this...I'd say get a life - but that seems a little too obvious! ;)
